BodyDash Support

The game cannot see me

  • Place your iPhone or iPad upright on a stable surface.
  • Step back until your head, shoulders, and hips are visible.
  • Use a well-lit room and avoid a bright window behind you.
  • Allow Camera access in Settings, Privacy & Security, Camera.
  • If Camera access is restricted, a parent or device administrator may need to change the restriction.

Playing on a TV

  • Connect with AirPlay or a compatible wired adapter before you start the run.
  • Keep BodyDash open on the iPhone or iPad while the TV shows the exercise view.
  • If the TV disconnects during play, reconnect it or choose Resume on this device. BodyDash pauses the run while you decide.
  • Camera permission and controls remain on the iPhone or iPad. The TV route does not upload camera video.

Jumps or ducks are not registering

  • Hold still briefly while BodyDash calibrates your stance.
  • Use clear, controlled movements within your ability.
  • Keep your upper body and hips inside the camera frame.
  • Restart the run after moving the device or changing rooms.

Highlights and Photos

BodyDash creates highlights locally. To save one, allow Add to Photos access when prompted. To change access later, open system Settings, select BodyDash, then review Camera and Photos permissions. BodyDash does not request Microphone access.

To remove retained run files, open Privacy & Storage in BodyDash and choose DELETE ALL RETAINED FILES. Photos and shared copies must be deleted from those destinations separately.

BodyDash normally keeps only the newest completed camera attempt's authenticated artifacts. A newer attempt replaces the prior one, even if its camera recording failed.

Analytics and Secret Menu submissions

Open Privacy & Storage to review or change your analytics choice. Turning analytics off stops new collection and deletes unsent analytics from this device.

The Secret Menu is hidden by default and intended for invited internal and external testers. Text-only bug reports do not require a code. Attaching run files or contributing a benchmark requires a short-lived upload code. Every submission is voluntary. The screen explains the data that will be sent and asks for confirmation before uploading any camera video. Contact support if you need help with a receipt or deletion.

Safe play

Clear the area around you, use a stable device position, and move within your own ability. Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, or discomfort.
